The City of Lauderhill, Lauderhill Sister Cities International, and the Lauderhill Regional Chamber of Commerce have opened the Lauderhill International Trade Incubator & Genesis I Art Gallery on October 22, 2010. Located at 1713 NW 38th Ave, Lauderhill, the International Trade Incubator (ITI) will nurture and grow small businesses in the City of Lauderhill that would like to participate in import/export trade.

Over the course of the next two (2) years, the occupants of the ITI will work with a team of advisors from the City of Lauderhill, the Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development, Enterprise Florida, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the Small Business Development Center and the Minority Business Enterprise Center.

Adjacent to the International Trade Incubator is the Genesis I Art Gallery. The Gallery will feature the work of six (6) visual artists from the Lauderhill Arts Center located in Central Lauderhill. The public is invited to tour the new Genesis I Art Gallery.

The artists participating are Karl “Jerry” Craig, Liliana Gerardi, Cristina Keller, Louis Louissaint, Vaughn Tucker and Corinne Wakeland. These dynamic individuals represent different media, methods and styles. Their paintings cover a wide range of expressions from realistic landscapes, portraiture, still life, and figurative to exciting abstracts. Each of the artists migrated to the U.S. from various countries adding to the cultural richness and diversity of their works.
