Lee Daniels to Speak at the Lauderhill MLK Gala during Black History Month – February 15, 2014

The City of Lauderhill and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Task Force are happy to announce the MLK Gala previously scheduled for January 18th featuring Screenwriter, Producer, Director Lee Daniels has been rescheduled during Black History Month for Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 4 pm.

Vice Mayor Bates, the event organizer, explains, “Mr. Daniels is welcome here anytime. We realize that having an ‘A-List’ guest as accomplished as Mr. Daniels will bring us a relevant speech that is guaranteed to be spectacular. For those of us planning to attend….this should be a night to remember!”

The location and format of the event has not changed. The Gala will be at Screen Post Production, located at 3500 NW 15 Street in Lauderhill, 33311 on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 4 pm. Tickets are $60 per person and are currently on sale. Tickets ppreviously purchased for the January event will be honored.
